hampage!

I don't talk about work much here; it's mostly about crafting and baking. But sometimes work and crafting go hand in hand!

One of the projects I've been working on for the past couple of months was a redesign of *insert massive movie website here*'s homepage. And during the development process, it got the nickname "hampage", because one of our task stickies was misspelled "hompage" and the "o" really did look like an "a". Endless hours of hilarity ensued (we were very amused with ourselves) and as the launch day approached, I tried to think of an appropriate baked good to celebrate with.

Of course, the answer was pig-shaped cookies. And lo and behold, Sur la table has nice pig-shaped cookie cutters, for the grand price of 1 dollar. They are mostly pig-shaped, but I was a little worried they wouldn't look like pigs once they baked up, so on a couple of them, I added curly tails:

curly tail.

Take those and add a little pink frosting:
pink, pink, and more pink.
(click through to see the awesome pig spatula that I had to buy.)

Throw in a few pineapples for good measure:
pigs and pineapples: launch cookies.

And you've got a launch celebration!

It is a very nice hampage! Also this post displays the degree to which Karin loves cookie preparation.

I *do* love cookie preparation. Especially when those cookies look like pineapples.
