I noticed that today I was only at about 7000 steps, so I took advantage of the fact that it's still summer (despite some recent cooler weather), and walked out to Kerry Park.

I tried out this gimmick filter that Melissa bought last week that blurs the edges of the photo. It sort of worked, but it took some patience to get the camera to still focus on something (the first one I tried blurred the entire photo).
Also, you can't really see it, but Mt. Rainier was out there to the right of the Washington Mutual Tower.
I always enjoy the view from Kerry Park, and today was no exception. It was really pretty, but as usual, still really crowded. Lots of photographers, kids in pajamas, cute little puppies. I felt a little out of place, but still lingered a bit to watch the glow in the sky fade away.
*Fun fact: Erma told me that in Korea the word for "pedometer" is something along the lines of "10,000 step machine."

Karin- I am inspired! I have been a pedo-addict for awhile BUT I make a significant effort (read workout)to get to 10,000+ steps a day...so you averaging it in your "normal" life is awesome :)
Hi Toby! I'm not doing as well with it this week (don't have as many outings planned), but I still have a few days to get the average back up!
that picture turned out awesome! i'm glad you are putting the filters (i guess that's what you'd call them) to use! i'm going to scrapbook your pictures someday... :P
