I made a half recipe and took the advice of adding some grated cheese to the dough (because, duh, I always have cheese), and they turned out great! Not as good as my normal baking powder biscuits (with milk), but a viable substitute if I don't have milk (which is more often than I'd like to admit).
Serving suggestion: eat with soup. Especially good if you didn't make the soup yourself. Because, duh, even though I like baking, I'm also very lazy.
