stamps!

For my birthday I got a book called Bend the Rules with Fabric, and I'd been wanting to try out some of the project ideas for a while (about 6 months ;). When Melissa was in town visiting, we tried out making foam stamps and stamped some onesies.

I made an octopus!

And a flower!

The best thing about stamps (as opposed to stencils) is that you can use them over and over again. In the flower onesie above, that's the same stamp three times. While I like stencils a lot (and freezer paper is much easier to cut than foam), I'm kind of in love with stamp making.

So, I did it again this week, only this time on paper:
bike stamp card - on white.

You can see the three steps I took to make that card for Miles' birthday.

Oh yeah, and I bought a bike like 2 months ago and I love it. Bikes!
